Projector and computer components.

Prices for video projectors have found their way under $1,000. Most of these are more powerful and have more versatility than their larger predecessors. Consumer electronic stores such as Best Buy and office supply superstores (Staples, Office Max, Office Depot) are carrying various models from major manufacturers priced from $900 to $2,100 (compact models). Laptops can now be purchased for as little as $450.

Strategies for Taking the First Steps:

• Borrow a laptop; connect it to your new portable projector.

• Set up a temporary screen where most can see it (Make sure it does not cover up important sacred "space and objects"

• Take a desktop tower out of an office and use it, temporarily. A desktop, because of its versatility will be your choice should you build/set up a "multimedia booth" with soundboard, lcd monitors, dvd player, amp, tape deck, etc...all linked by cable to your installed projector and "house" speakers.
