Will my choice of software run on my computer?
1. The operating system that is installed. (Windows 3.1 / 95 / 98 / 98SE / ME / 2000/XP/Vista/7) or if an Apple, which OS will support the software that you have identified?
2. The amount of system memory ("RAM") installed (word processing takes less, image/video and databases take much more).
3. The graphics card/graphics memory on your computer. Enough memory? Fast enough graphics processor?
4. The CPU (Processor Chip) of the computer. Is it fast enough? (If a 1.5 ghz is required, the software will not run on a 850 mhz computer.)
5. The amount of hard drive space? Do you have enough? Upgrade is not difficult, but make sure that your machine will be able to run the new hard drive.
6. Does your computer have a CD or DVD drive? Software is now being sold recorded on DVD and CD discs.
