To set up an internet account with a web hosting service (Do not, unless you have a full-time and web networking certified team who are on duty 24/7/365, even think about setting up your web site on your office server!)

• On which to load web composition software and ftp uploading software
• To compose and upload your web pages
• To regularly (minimum of once per week) update and edit your site

Web Host - Choose from 1 of 2 types

• Free: American Bible Society's ForMinistry.com; or, check out your local library system.

• Annual Fee + Setup + Registration of web name (domain)
  

   

  • ReadyHosting.com ($8.25/month or $99 per year if paid at once; presently "waiving" the setup fee) is one of the best according to several reviewers including CNet.com. Check out their terms. The main difference between the free ones and the ones you pay for is your church has more creative control over the ones that you are payig for.

   

  • Find one in your community. Ask leaders of nearby churches. You may find a way to reach those representatives for Christ.
